What we deliver in Hexham

The Tyne Valley villages have bigger plots than the towns — closeboard runs of 25–40m are normal, and we do a lot of sleeper-retaining for the sloped Hexham and Corbridge gardens. Stone-built cottage refurbs in Acomb and Bardon Mill often want closeboard that complements the stone (we go with pressure-treated dark-stained for these). Estate-scale fencing for the larger landowners around Allendale and Haydon Bridge is by quote.

Local notes & access

Stone-built cottages with established gardens often have older fencing in unusual heights (5ft, 7ft, etc.) — we stock these so don't worry if your run doesn't match the standard 6ft. Tyne Valley wind funnels through some plots, so 4×4 posts are sensible on exposed runs. Bedrock close to surface in pockets around Acomb and Allendale — we'll spec accordingly.
